Thurston, our new cat, loved the box. He’s a curious little guy.

Made some changes to the flickr-post-to-blog-layout.
What better way to test, than posting a pic from this summer, hanging out in our old backyard at la’mon?

Why? Because then you’re pic will show up when you post comments around the net on every blog that supports gravatars.

Who supports gravatars? Well this blog do:) And millions more. Another example from the top of my head: www.nrkbeta.no.

Testing the ‘Blog this’ thingy in flickr, whilst showing off some of my stompboxes. (Is it called stompboxes? Dunno)

The Big Muff is ill. It’s a russian model, been with me since approx ‘97/’98 or something. Kind of sad, but the electric wiring is in a dreadful condition. So now I use my Rat instead. It is not the same. Planning on getting my dirty fingers on a Nano Muff.

I also have a Volume Pedal somewhere in the chain, and a tremolo lying around. Brag brag brag

So far, all is not good, but it’s kinda OK.

Been having trouble with sound, but after the fix (the old fix for 701 had to be made), and after I cranked up Front-volume etc, it seems ok.

Wifi is also not super good. There’s a fix in the wiki, but I havent bothered yet. Maybe Wifi is ok after all. I don’t know.

Most annoying thing is that Firefox takes for ever to start up! It just waits? Nothing happens, and after a long time, it’s up. Weird.

Also there’s some weird things going on with the update manager. It wants to do partial upgrades all the time.

Besides that? Great:)

Must say I really like 4-track recording. It’s play, record, ping-pong. No plugins.. Mmm. You can check out one of the songs, Desire over Words, on www.myspace.com/soturnmeondeadman.

We were going to record more today, but our drummer had to go to the er. He’s fine, but can’t play for some days. We’ll pick it up again next week I guess. I hope to record Hard to Ignore and maybe We are Not Trees. Great songs. We’ll see what the other guys say. We have a lot of new songs! It’s great. More to come too. Been working on some other new ones for a while, plus there are more on their way. Lyrics are forming too.

I also have some new Emma-songs I think. Maybe even Golovan tunes. We’ll see. They could also be STMODM-material. Not decided yet.
